	Lead Mechanical Engineer - $258K - $233K Full EPCM - Project Delivery Team Mechanical Design Engineer: Lead As one of the mechanical decision makers, you will have the opportunity to recruit and build this EPCM’s team. Taking the lead, you will interface with the business unit manager and associate directors on all this company’s mechanical needs including mentoring a team of 5 engineers. Within 2 months, projects will be in full flight, with approximately 9 years worth of man power required across Australia for local ventures totaling $3.3Billion. This EPCM has proven it can secure projects due to their low retention rates, which saw this company sustain most of its staff during the GFC, a feat unmatched by most of the EPCM’s. Offering half days on Friday, this company is aware that its staff are human too; this is why they offer flexible working hours. In return, management states this person must be able to take the reins immediately, and develop the team with intent of sustainability. This means you will be looking at a long-term future for the next 3 years with this company. Management express you can move into a business leadership role after this period of time. With this in mind, you should bring 10-15 years experience in Mechanical Engineering. The ability to have lead teams of 5 on projects over $100M is also to your advantage. At least 5 years design experience across materials handling equipment for fixed and mobile plants is essential.
